Embark on this adventure to discover the beauty of Huascaran National Park, hiking the María Josefa trail to the wonderful turquoise lagoon of Chinancocha.
(It is important to make your reservation one month in advance)
Start of the tour: We will leave the hotel in Huaraz at approximately 9:00 am.
Route: We will head north, crossing the impressive Callejón de Huaylas, a region located between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
Along the way: We will pass through picturesque Andean villages and enjoy panoramic views. Our first destination will be the Llanganuco Gorge and the Chinancocha Lagoon.
Hike: From the lagoon, we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes along the María Josefa trail, known for its lush quenual forests.
Free Time: We will have a brief free period to explore the area and enjoy lunch at your own pace.
Additional Visit: Afterwards, we will head to the Campo Santo de Yungay.
Return to Huaraz: After the visit, we will return to our transportation to go back to Huaraz.
Estimated Time of Arrival: We will arrive in Huaraz around 18:30 hours.
