The Parón Lagoon, in Ancash, dazzles with its turquoise waters at an altitude of 4,250 meters.
We will start the tour with hotel pick up at 8:00 am. We will stop briefly in Carhuaz to buy food or drinks, and then continue to Caraz, 70 km north of Huaraz. We will ascend an unpaved road to Laguna Parón.
At the lagoon, you will be able to walk around, admire the Andean flora and views of mountains like Artesonraju and Piramide Garcilazo. You will also have the option to hike for 40 minutes to a lookout point for a panoramic view.
Then we will return to Caraz and continue to Huaraz, finishing the tour around 6:00 pm.
