Enjoy an unforgettable route through one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World on this 2-day excursion to Machu Picchu.
Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes
At the agreed time we will pick you up from the meeting point in Cusco. We will take a road route of approximately two hours until we reach the Ollantaytambo railway station.
Once there, we will board a train and embark on an hour and a half trip to Aguas Calientes. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes offered by the Andes mountain range. You won't stop taking photos!
Once the train trip is over, we will take you to the hotel in Aguas Calientes so you can leave your luggage. You will have the afternoon and evening free to start exploring the area.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Good morning! After breakfast at the hotel, we will board a bus to approach the citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will organize a two and a half hour tour. The sacred plaza, the temple of the Sun, the Royal Residence and many other Inca buildings will be present.
After the guided tour, we will leave you two hours free so that you can continue exploring the site at your leisure. If you want, you can also take the opportunity to climb the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountains on your own, which offer privileged views of the lost city of the Incas.
Finally, we will take you back to Aguas Calientes so you can eat before taking the train that will take you to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will go by bus to Cusco.
