From Ica | Buggy excursion through the Huacachina Desert

Dare to cross the dunes of the Huacachina desert aboard powerful buggies and enjoy a tremendous adrenaline rush with this activity!
Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel in Ica at 3:30 p.m., we'll head to the majestic Huacachina Desert, located about five kilometers from the Peruvian city of Ica, to begin a buggy excursion.

Upon arrival, we will learn the history of the famous oasis of Huacachina from the hand of our guide. Afterwards, we will begin our buggy adventure through the desert, photographing the dunes and exotic landscapes of this captivating natural space.

Throughout the tour, we will appreciate the eastern part of the Peruvian Andes along with the whimsical sand formations sculpted randomly by the action of the winds. We'll also stop in front of a group of dunes to practice sandboarding, one of the most popular activities in the desert!

Aboard a special board designed to slide on the sand, we will enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience, a real adrenaline rush! Once the sanboarding activity is finished, we will return to the Huacachina lagoon through the sandy Peruvian desert.

Finally, we will finish the activity at your hotel in Ica at 6:30 p.m.

Pickup
This activity includes pickup only from hotels in the center of Ica, so you can select the "tour with pickup" option only if you are staying in hotels located in the center of Ica.

If you are staying in another area, you must select the "tour without pickup" option and go on your own at 3:45 p.m. to the El Bambú hotel, in the Huacachina oasis. The option without pickup will end at 6:00 p.m.
