Discover the natural beauty of Oman on a full-day tour from Muscat. Visit the Nakhal Fortress, explore the hot springs, and take a dip in the crystal rock pools of Wade Abyadh.

Start your day with a visit to Wade Abyadh, a beautiful wadi with crystal rock pools. Wade through the water and explore the area, which is filled with green vegetation and white boulders and rocks.

Next, drive towards Wade Mistal, and reach the mountain after 30 km. Visit the villages of Hadash and Wekan, and drive to Wekan, an agriculture village that is 1700 meters above sea level.

Continue to Nakhal and visit the Nakhal Fortress, which lies at the foothills of the mountains in a small town that grows extensive date palm plantations. The 1500-year-old fortress rises out of the mountain rock, towering high above the ancient village.

Stroll around the inside of the restored fortress and visit all the rooms, which have been nicely decorated in the original old style. Enjoy the view from the top of the fortress over the mountains and green date plantations.

Finally, visit the hot spring, which is tucked away among date farms a couple of kilometers from Nakhal Fort. The spring flows year-round with warm mineral water collected in the site pools. Several chairs and shades are provided in the picnic area near the pool.
