One of our special nature reserves just 20 minutes by ferry, Mana Island awaits you. Enjoy a self-guided walking tour on easy walking grass tracks. See many of our rare and endangered native birds, incredible views up to Kapiti, across to the south island, Makora and back to Ti Tahi Bay.
Purpose built safe ferry leaving from Mana Marina will drop you off on the island at the historic wool shed for a day of history nature and family fun. You will have 4 hrs on the island to enjoy everything she has to offer.
Your guide will give you a induction to the island tell you about the natural history and human story of Mana, go through the safety rules of the island and make sure you are all set up for a wonderful day. Then you are away for yourself guided day of fun. Spotting the birds, exploring the grass tracks and stunning beaches.
Bring your lunch or picnic, drinks to relax in a secluded picnic or beach area while you wait for your return ferry.

There is free parking at Mana Marina. Come into the Marina, park Parrell to the train tracks and walk to the very southern end of the Marina down by the two bridges. The boat is in the large southern fuel berth area. Look for our flags
