Leave Tromsø's city lights behind as we head to carefully selected locations that maximize your chances of witnessing the Aurora Borealis light up the Arctic night sky. With warm drinks, traditional Norwegian snacks, and warm thermal suits provided if necessary, you'll be able to focus on enjoying the experience.
THE EXPERIENCE
Your journey begins in Tromsø city center, where you'll meet your guide and board our comfortable Mercedes Sprinter minibus. This 4-7 hour adventure could take you along the stunning Norwegian coastline, through peaceful inland valleys, or even across the border to Finland – depending on weather conditions and aurora activity. Each destination is carefully chosen to escape light pollution and provide the clearest skies for viewing the Northern Lights.
When conditions are right, we’ll stop to set up a cozy bonfire where you can enjoy warm drinks and Norwegian snacks while soaking in the Arctic atmosphere. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the Northern Lights and life in the far north, adding depth to the experience.
When the aurora appears, your guide will capture high-quality photos of you under the lights. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or simply wish to enjoy the moment, we can provide tips to help you take your own memorable shots.
After the tour, we'll return you to the same central Tromsø location where we started, or at the hotel in the city center.

Meet in Tromsø City Center, Kirkegata 2, near Tourist Shop.
Look for guides in Arctic Glow vest.
Departure: 7:30 PM (varies with season).
Duration: around 4-7 hours (could be longer depending on the weather conditions).
Arrive 15 minutes early.
Bring ID/passport - we might cross to Finland.
WE RECOMMEND WARM CLOTHING:
Base layer: Thermal underwear.
Mid layer: Warm wool sweater.
Outer layer: Winter pants and warm jacket.
Warm wool socks and winter shoes.
Winter hat, gloves, and scarf.
