Travel along the famed Milford Road in a premium Mercedes van, limited to just 16 passengers, hosted by a friendly local guide, and cruise below the towering peaks of the fjord on a 2-hour nature cruise.
You will start the day picked up from the comfort of your accommodation in Queenstown or central meeting points along the route. After a scenic drive through Southland farming country to Te Anau, we enter the Fiordland National Park and the famous Milford Road. Enjoy plenty of stops along the way, taking in the views and meeting the local cheeky Kea bird.
Once in Milford Sound, board a boat for a 2-hour cruise along the fjord, where you can feast your eyes on the spectacular sights and go under waterfalls. Allow your local guide to provide you with informative commentary while you absorb the views of the lush surroundings. Along the way, you'll see everything from cascading waterfalls, mirrored lakes, and awe-inspiring mountains to fur seals and dolphins.
After your cruise, rejoin the van to commence the return journey to Queenstown. Sit back, relax, and take in the views. Once back in Queenstown, you will be dropped back off at the same point where you met the van.

• Your tour includes a packed picnic lunch and the default sandwich flavor is chicken. If you would like to change this to a vegetarian sandwich or advise us of any dietaries, please let us know by 5 PM the day prior to departure
• The pickup service is available at select accommodations and bus stops around Queenstown and not at Airbnb accommodations or private addresses unless agreed with the local partner
• After you book, you will hear from one of our team to reconfirm all pickup information
Please inform the activity provider of your accommodation. After you book, the team will contact you with the exact pickup time for your pick-up location. The 730 AM departure time applies to the central Queenstown pick-up, however, times can vary between 7 AM and 8 AM, depending on your location.
Please take note of the time the team reconfirms with you and be at the pickup location 10 minutes prior to your departure time. Your guide will wait up to 5 minutes after your departure time. Any late arrivals who miss the tour will not be entitled to a refund.
