On this glorious tour you will taste at 3 vineyards and visit another for lunch with a glass of wine, so 4 Vineyards all up. Explore the stunning scenery of West Auckland on a wine tour, visiting some of the finest vineyards in the region. Sample a wide range of artisan wines and learn about the landscape from your local guide’s engaging commentary; this is a small boutique tour, and you will meet other travellers and make friends on the day.

Start your tour by being picked up from Movenpick Hotel outside the bus stop at 10 a.m. In a modern vehicle, enjoy a relaxing journey over the Auckland Harbour bridge and through the West Auckland Forests to the beautiful Auckland vineyards while your guide shares insights into the island’s history and its world-famous wines.

During the tour, visit four cellar doors and have the opportunity to sample award-winning wines. Gain knowledge about the area’s unique growing conditions and the challenges winemakers face.

10:00 AM: Pick up at the Movenpick Hotel bus stop for a scenic tour over the Auckland Harbour Bridge out to West Auckland.

11:00 - Visit Westbrook Winery for wine tasting. Westbrook is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries. Their skilled winemaker, James Rowan, combines time-honoured traditional and innovative techniques to produce hand-crafted, multi-award-winning wines, including outstanding Chardonnays and Rieslings.

12:00 - Proceed to Hunting Lodge for wine tasting and lunch. The Hunting Lodge is home to New Zealand’s original Sauvignon Blanc vines and was once a real hunting lodge for the Kerr-Taylor family.

13.30 - Enjoy a tour and tasting at Kumeu River Estate. Kumeu River Estate is unequivocally one of the very best wineries in New Zealand, famed for making wines that are widely acknowledged as world-class, World-renowned single-vineyard chardonnays by rock star winemaker Michael Brajkovich MW

15:00 - Head to Soljans Estate for wine tasting. Soljans Estate Winery has been family-owned for three generations since 1937, making it the third oldest family-run winery that is still family-owned.

16:00 - Transfer back to Auckland CBD.
