Day 1: Pokhara to Sirubari
Departing from Pokhara, you will begin your journey towards Sirubari, a beautiful village renowned for its community-based tourism. The drive will take about 2.5 hours. The scenic route offers stunning views of the countryside and Himalayan foothills, although the road conditions can be bumpy.

You will arrive in Sirubari, where you will be greeted with a traditional welcome ceremony by the host family. This warm welcome sets the tone for the immersive cultural experience ahead. After the ceremony, you’ll check into your homestay, living with a local family. This is a unique opportunity to experience the local culture and lifestyle firsthand. Following the check-in, a traditional Nepali lunch will be served, prepared by your host family.A guided tour of Sirubari village will commence. You’ll visit local homes, interact with the villagers, and learn about their daily lives, traditions, and customs. The tour will also take you through the terraced fields, traditional houses, and community buildings, offering a comprehensive insight into rural Nepali life.

Evening:
In the evening you’ll participate in a cultural program organized by the villagers. This event includes traditional music, dance performances, and local storytelling, allowing you to engage with the community and appreciate their rich cultural heritage. Dinner will be served, featuring a traditional Nepali meal, typically consisting of dal bhat (lentil soup with rice), vegetables, and homemade pickles. After dinner, spend the evening relaxing and socializing with your host family. You can share stories and experiences by the warm glow of the fire or under the starry sky, creating lasting memories of your visit. You will then retire for the night in your Sirubari homestay.

Day 2: Sirubari to Pokhara
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. Sirubari offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, and a morning walk to a nearby viewpoint will provide the best views and photo opportunities. After enjoying the serene morning, return to your homestay for a hearty breakfast with your host family . Following breakfast, you can participate in local morning activities such as milking cows, working in the fields, or learning traditional crafts. A visit to the village monastery is also included, where you can interact with the local monks and gain a deeper understanding of their way of life.

At noon, attend a farewell ceremony organized by the family. This is a time to express your gratitude and say your goodbyes to the community. Following the ceremony, You will begin your journey back to Pokhara, making occasional stops along the way for refreshments and to take in the scenic views.

You’ll arrive back in Pokhara. After the drive, check into your hotel and take some time to rest and freshen up. This concludes your enriching two-day journey to Sirubari, filled with cultural immersion and unforgettable experiences.
