Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Pokhara to Nayapool by Bus, Trek to Ulleri
The adventure begins with a morning bus ride from Pokhara to Nayapool, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. From Nayapool, you start your trek towards Ulleri. The trek from Nayapool to Ulleri takes about 5-6 hours and involves a steep climb, especially from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri, where you’ll ascend a famous stone staircase with over 3,000 steps. Ulleri is a charming village known for its picturesque views and traditional houses. You’ll spend the night in a tea house in Ulleri, enjoying the local hospitality and beautiful surroundings.

Day 2: Ulleri to Mohare Danda
After an early breakfast, you’ll begin the trek from Ulleri to Mohare Danda, which takes around 6 hours. The trail passes through lush rhododendron and oak forests, offering occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks. As you ascend, the views become more spectacular. Upon reaching Mohare Danda, you will be rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The sunset and sunrise views from Mohare Danda are particularly magnificent. You’ll camp or stay in a community lodge at Mohare Danda, enjoying the serene environment and the majestic mountain vistas.

Day 3: Mohare Danda to Tikhedhunga
After enjoying a beautiful sunrise at Mohare Danda, you’ll begin your descent towards Tikhedhunga. The trek from Mohare Danda to Tikhedhunga takes about 6-7 hours, passing through dense forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages. Tikhedhunga is a small village nestled in a scenic valley. You’ll spend the night in a tea house in Tikhedhunga, reflecting on the day’s adventures and preparing for the final leg of your trek.

Day 4: Tikhedhunga to Nayapool, Return to Pokhara by Bus
On the final day, you’ll trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapool, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. The trail descends steadily, offering lovely views of the surrounding landscapes. Upon reaching Nayapool, you’ll catch a bus back to Pokhara, which takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Pokhara, you can relax and unwind by the lakeside, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and reflecting on your memorable trek, marking the end of your trekking adventure.
