Technically speaking, the Kathesimbhu stupa is a massive chaitya set inside a walled courtyard with smaller chaityas surrounding it with inscriptions and statues, and an ancient monastery (Sighahbaha) just behind it.
Yetkha Bahal: Despite the extreme hustle and bustle of overpopulated Kathmandu city, you will soon feel at peace, once you’re inside the Yetkha Bahal. It is a traditional courtyard, built with amazing Newa art and architecture.
