The ‘Annapurna Circuit 10 days Trek’ is very famous high pass Trek (Thorong La 5416m) in Annapurna Region of Nepal. This is a comparatively shorter trek available from Kathmandu and Pokhara city.
The trek will begin after a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and thrilling Jeep drive to Chame in the Marshyangdi River Valley. The Annapurna Circuit then passes through Chame, Pisang, Manang and finally via Thorong La High Pass and concludes in Jomsom. The trail takes you along many paddy fields, subtropical forests, several waterfalls and gigantic cliffs and various villages. On your journey you will be passing through the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak with numerous other peaks that falls in the range of 6000 – 8000 m.
Furthermore, this trek has also been voted as one of the best long-distance treks in the world. It combines in its old full form a wide variety of climatic elevation and cultural variety from Hindu villages at the low foothills of Chame to the upper Tibetan Culture in Manang and Mustang. This trek package furthermore includes the very famous temple of ‘Muktinath’ as well. Moreover you will also be exploring the dry land and the rain shadow area in Manang & Lower Mustang.
Outline Itinerary :
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu/ Pokhara and transfer to Hotel . At evening pre trip meeting and welcome dinner (Max Altitude: 1350 m / 4429 ft)
Day 2 : Travel from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Besisahar 5-6 hours (Min Altitude: 840 m / 2756 ft)
Day 3 : Drive to Chame by sharing jeep 6-7 hours (Max Altitude: 2710 m / 8891 ft)
Day 4 : Trek to Pisang 5-6 hours (Max Altitude: 3300 m / 10826 ft)
Day 5 : Trek to Manang 5-6 hours (Max Altitude: 3540 m / 11614 ft)
Day 6 : Acclimatization Day at Manang (Max Altitude: 3540 m / 11614 ft)
Day 7 : Trek to Lader 5-6 hours (Max Altitude: 4250 m / 13944 ft)
Day 8 : Trek to Phedi / High Camp 5-6hours (Max Altitude: 4600 m / 15091 ft)
Day 9 : Trek to Thorong La to Muktinath to Jomsom 7-8hours (Max Altitude: 5416 m / 17769 ft)
Day 10 : Fly to Pokhara 20 minute or drive and transfer to your own hotel (Min Altitude: 830 m / 2723 ft)
