Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu and drive to Nagarkot. At an elevation of about 2,175 meters above sea level, Nagarkot is located about 36 km east of Kathmandu Valley.

As one of the most scenic spots in the region, Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise views of the Himalayas. Observe Mount Everest with its snow-topped peaks and an overlook tower at the very top of the village’s hills.

The square is part of a beautiful valley as it highlights the idols of ancient kings resting on top of stone monoliths, the guardian divinities looking out from their shrines, and the wood carvings in the very place, which seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony.
