Ghorepani-Poonhill Trek’ is a very famous trek that is comparatively an easy and short trek package suiting the needs of all kinds of travelers, be it a couple or family with / without kids.
Ghorepani Poonhill Trek combines a spectacular view of the sunrise with majestic mountains in the foreground. The mountains in sight include the very famous Fishtail Mountain, Annapurna-I, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Himchuli, Lamjung Himal and many more.

Ghorepani lies on a major trail linking several other villages as well as the Annapurna Base Camp. From the South-East direction, it can normally be hiked to from the village of Birethanti in about 10 hours depending on the trekker. However, many trekkers prefer to stay overnight at one of the lower villages on their way to Ghorepani, covering the distance over two days owing to the steepness of the trail, the increase in altitude and the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Day 3 : Trek from Birethanti to Ulleri 5-6 hours (Max Altitude: 2020 m / 6627 ft)
Day 4 : Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani 4-5 hours (Max Altitude: 2850 m / 9350 ft)
Day 5 : Early morning hike to Poon Hill for Sunrise and mountain view and trek to Ghandruk 6-7 hours(Min Altitude: 1940 m / 6364 ft)
Day 6 : Trek to Birethanti 3-4 hours and drive back to Pokhara one hours(Min Altitude: 830 m / 2723 ft)
Day 7 : Drive back to Kathmandu 6-7 hours (Max Altitude: 1350 m / 4429 ft)
Day 8 : Final Departure
