During this unique experience you will get to discover the beautiful medina of Tangier, get introduced to the city’s culture and take amazing pictures
Starting from the port, airport or your accommodation in Tangier, this tour is devoted to discover the beauty of Tangiers and its hidden gems.
First we’ll start by visiting the kasbah quarter that was founded back in 1471 by the Portuguese, then walk into the souks to enjoy a local open market of the city while getting a full introduction to the history and the moorish-Andalusian heritage of the city, then we will pass by the Jewish quarter (melah) and the main synagogue (moshe nahoon). then we’ll head to the grand Socco where we have a small squre but has a big meaning for all Moroccans (book to know why !!).
Afterwards we have an optional visit to the American legation ( Since Morocco was the first country to recognise the independence of United States Of America.
A lunch break also is provided under your need to taste the Mediterranean diet of Tangier.
