Your adventure begins at 8 AM at the meeting point, followed by a scenic drive to Cuajimoloyas. En route, savor a local breakfast, featuring mushroom dishes during the rainy season (July-September). A short 15-minute drive brings you to the trailhead, where the hike begins.
Traverse the heart of the forest along a variety of trails, ranging from easy to challenging, covering 8-9 kilometers over 3-4 hours, depending on group pace. Marvel at the 360º panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and discover the rich biodiversity, including plants, trees, fields, and local wildlife.
After the hike, return to the car and drive uphill for 20 minutes to enjoy a meal with stunning community views. Conclude the day with a drive back to Oaxaca City.
