The horseback riding tour with Omar in Tangier is an amazing addition to a trip to Morocco. Riding on the ocean beach is amazing; the ocean of sand is mesmerizing. We rode the on the beach for a while, stopping to enjoy tea and homemade Moroccan lunch which is delicious and the silence of the desert brought an amazing peacefulness. We stopped to watch an incredible sunset from the backs of our horses and arrived at our final campsite for more tea and handmade snacks. The tour was extremely well organized, and the meals delicious. But the most amazing part of the tour will be the star gazing. Just outside of our campsite we will sit quietly on the the hillside and watch a billion stars in the sky. It was magnificent.
