Visit the Atlas Mountains and the weekly souk market with the High Atlas Mountains. Discover waterfalls, Berber villages and Toubkal National Park. Meet the locals and savor a home-cooked lunch.
Your combined day trip to the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages will start at around 9:00 am after our team picking you up from your accommodation or meet you at the nearest point to your riad/hotel.

Our journey to the High Atlas will start by driving towards Ourika Road where we will have our first stop which is a 25-minute camel ride experience. The Camel drivers will be waiting for us to to give us local Bedouin costumes which makes this an authentic experience.
Then, hop on your well-treated camel, snap some Instagram pics and enjoy a fresh cup of mint tea in a Berber tent.
You will also enjoy learning about Berber culture and traditions during your tea break from our tour guide and you will also get a chance to ask about your interests from this experience.
Following, you will enjoy stopping by a local argan oil collective for a tour and a snack as well as to experience the bottling process first hand by the local Berber women.

From here, continue to the Asni Valley, get to know the area and visit the weekly Berber market on Saturdays where most of the people of the Atlas Mountains come to meet to buy meat, vegetables and other items.

Our next stop will be the picturesque and lively valley of Imlil. It is a nice place with a fast flowing river, walnut trees and very traditional Berber villages dotted throughout and enjoy cup of oronge juise in Imlil waterful. From here we will start our walk with a leisurely stop at my charming home where you can take in the stunning view from the rooftop terrace while you enjoy a delicious Berber lunch prepared lovingly by our mother.
After lunch we will continue our walk along an easy trail with fantastic views of the entire valley. Our driver will be waiting to take us back to Marrakech (arriving in the city at approximately 5:30pm).

Saturday and Tuesday tours also include a visit to a local Berber farmer's market.

Note : the total duration of walk is 2.5 hours but transportation will be provided for people who do not want to walk

The day trip to the Atlas mountains will end by dropping you off at your Marrakech hotel or any other location in the city.
