From Mombasa: 3-Day Tsavo West National Park Safari-Ngulia

Embark on a 3-day safari to Tsavo West National Park from Mombasa. Enjoy game drives and a walking safari tour at Mzima Springs, and see the Big Five and other wildlife.

Day 1:

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Mombasa. Drive to Tsavo West National Park and pass through the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. Admire the lovely sceneries in the eastern part of Kenya and spot wild animals on the way.

After a 5-hour drive, arrive at Voi town and head straight to the Tsavo West National Park main gate. Do a game drive en route to lodge. After lunch, drive to the Severin Safari Camp, check in, and depart for a game viewing drive. Return to the lodge for a buffet dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:

Spend the whole day exploring the Tsavo West National Park, which is more popular due to its scenic beauty characterized by a wide range of vegetation. The park is home to the African big five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards.

See other big game such as giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, gerenuk, lesser kudu, waterbucks, and wildebeests. The park also hosts a good number of bird species, including rare birds like the corncrake, Basra reed warbler, and secretary bird.

Day 3:

Wake up for an early breakfast and depart with a game viewing drive en route to Mzima Springs for a walking safari tour. Mzima Spring is the source of the Tsavo River and is home to fish, hippos, and crocodiles.

Lunch will be served at a stopover restaurant outside the park on your way to Mombasa. Later, depart for Nairobi and arrive late in the afternoon for a drop-off at your respective hotel.
