Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. Depart for Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa road. Drive through the African savanna, passing local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle.
Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch. Take a midday rest and later venture into the park for an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, and ostriches.
Admire the views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Marvel at the wildlife and scenery with the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at AA Amboseli Lodge or a similar accommodation.
Day 2: Amboseli to Nairobi
After breakfast, go for a game drive in search of predators and grazers. Depart the park to Nairobi with a stop for a break and lunch in Emali (own expense). Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
