We meet at a central place and The day begins with a local farmer's market tour, where we will have the opportunity to shop for fresh foods and experience the lively ambiance of the market. Following the market tour, participants will go back to the host's home, located in the outskirts of Nairobi city, where the cooking experience will unfold.
1.Cooking Experience:
Kitchen Demonstration: In a modestly sized kitchen, participants will join the host in preparing a traditional tribal meal, with the host showcasing the art of Kenyan cuisine while sharing wonderful stories and insights about the local culinary heritage.
2.Hands-On Experience: While the host will primarily handle the cooking due to space constraints, participants will have the opportunity to assist whenever possible, ensuring an engaging and interactive cooking experience 2.
3.Market Visit:
Guided Market Visit: Participants will accompany the host to a nearby local market, where they will purchase the necessary ingredients for the cooking class, providing a comprehensive and authentic culinary experience.
Transportation Note: Please note that the host's location is not easily accessible via public bus, but Uber and other taxis are available options. The host can also arrange transportation for participants, including hotel pick-up and drop-off at an additional cost.
