We will walk from one area to another as we learn about locals, their culture, food, and way of life. These areas are all in Old Town and it is a short distance walk.
The places we will visit and eat in are mainly on the streets. So, we will walk from one area to another as we learn about locals, their culture, food, and way of life. These areas are all in Old Town and it is a short distance walk so you will not get tired.
Depending on your food taste and capacity, You will have to sample these:
1. Mshikaki-Beef/Chicken Skewers
2. Juice ya Miwa-Fresh sugarcane juice
3. Kahawa- Swahili Sweet Coffee
4. Chai-Swahili Tea
5. Viazi karai/Bhajia-Potatoes
6. Sea Food- Octopus/Prawns/Fish
7. Kachiri-Cassava Chips/Crisps
For every bite, there is a story. We will also learn how the food is prepared so you can try it when you go back to your city. Here, we Vurunyaaa.
Let me know if you have any allergies in advance so I can work out the best samples for you.
Vegetarian/Vegan/Pescatarian options are also available. Don't feel left out
