2 days Tsavo East and saltlick safari from Diani/Mombasa

You will visit the largest National park in Kenya- Tsavo East and Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary for an overnight stay at Saltlick Safari Lodge-built on stilts concrete which offers a very good view
Day 1: Mombasa / Diani - Tsavo East
You will be picked from your Hotel at 5:00 am in the morning, drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway and arrive at Bachuma gate in Tsavo East at around 8:00 am. Here you will begin your game drive. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by british Army 1952 during Colonial time.) You will see many elephants, man eating lions, buffaloes, zebras etc. You will continue the game drive upto 12 noon on route to leave the national park heading to Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary, you will have lunch at around 1:30 pm at the Taita Hills Lodge, relax for 2 hours and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.
Day 2: Taita Hills – Mombasa/Diani
Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Around 11:00 am you will depart for Mombasa/Diani, taking part in a game drive and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani, you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is where your safari will end.
