See the best of the Angkor Wat temple complex on a 2-day guided tour that’s been designed for a small group of up to 8 persons. Visit Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, and Banteay Srey temples, and take a boat ride on Tonle Sap to the floating village.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
At 08:00 your guide will take you to the south gate of Angkor Thom for a visit to the temples in the complex. You’ll see Bayon Temple, Bapoun, and the Elephant Terrace. Continue on to Ta Promh, built by king Jayavarman VII (1181-1218), and dedicated to his mother. Angelina Jolie’s popular movie Tomb Raider was filmed at this temple in the jungle. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch you’ll head to the magnificent Angkor Wat, built by King Suryavarman II (1113-1150), and dedicated to the God Vishnu. In the evening you’ll enjoy a buffet dinner with an apsara dance performance at a city restaurant. Afterwards you’ll be transferred to your Siem Reap hotel.

Day 2
Visit the floating village on Tonle Sap by boat, and marvel at the vastness of what appears to be an inland sea. Fishing is an important occupation for local residents, and you’ll visit fish and crocodile farms. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch your tour continues on to Bantaey Srey, a small temple that features the finest carving of all the Angkor temples.Pass by some small villages on the return trip, where you may make a brief stop to see how sugar is produced from sugar palm trees. The tour ends at your Siem Reap hotel.
