Take a bike tour of some of Kyoto’s highlights with a local guide. Visit the Heian Shrine and Ginkakuji Temple, explore the spectacular scenery of the Philosopher’s Path, and discover Geisha culture in the bike-friendly city’s Gion district.
After meeting your guide, get ready for your cycling adventure. Either hop on a standard bike or an electrically assisted bike for an optional upgrade cost of 1,000 yen on the day, then set off on your tour.
Make your first stop at the Shinto Heian Shrine and discover its spectacular garden. Continue to the Zen Ginkakuji Temple and admire its silver pavilion. At each stop, learn how Buddhism and Shinto have shaped Japan's culture.
