Enjoy whisky tasting at Whisky Hakushu factory tour, which is rarely booked and beautiful Mt Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi.
Discover the perfect blend of nature, culture, and gastronomy on this exclusive day trip from Tokyo.
Our first destination (the order of visits may be changed due to operational reasons) will be Oishi Park, a famous scenic spot on Mt. Fuji, a beautiful mountain rising from Lake Kawaguchi.
Mt. Fuji is also attractive with seasonal flowers, and you can enjoy souvenir shops and refreshments.
Next, immerse yourself in the traditional Japanese village atmosphere at the Saiko Iyashi no Sato Outdoor Museum. Wander through the reconstructed thatched-roof houses and learn about the local history and culture.
After this visit, you will enjoy your lunch (if you have included the meal plan) at a Japanese style restaurant. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies when you book.
The highlight of the tour is Whisky Distillery Tour at Suntory Hakushu Distillery for 90minutes
Introducing the dedication of craftsmenship and production process to produce a variety of distinctive whiskies at Hakushu Distillery.
Tours are conducted by Japanese speaking guide staff by Suntory(English auido guide is available).
This tour provides a full wide range to enjoy whisky.
・Visitors can see the production site where Single Malt Whisky Hakushu is created and experience with all five senses the aromas and temperatures that can only be felt there.
・During the tasting, enjoy ‘Single Malt Whisky Hakushu’, rare ‘Malt Whisky Original’ and ‘Hakushu Forest Fragrant Highball’.
・After the tour, you can take home a ‘Hakushu Original Tasting Glass’.
・An audio guide application (free of charge) is available to provide an audio guide of the production process. (English, Spanish, Korean and Chinese translations) Please install the app on your smartphone before visiting the exhibition.
