EIICHI TAKAHASHI
14th Generation Head / Master Chef of Hyotei
Born in 1939, he took over Hyotei at 28 and has served as chairman of the Kyoto Cuisine Association. In 2013, he was recognized as a holder of Kyoto's intangible cultural property, "Kyoto Cuisine/Kaiseki Cuisine."
YOSHIHIRO TAKAHASHI
15th Generation Head / Master Chef of Hyotei
Born in 1974, he trained at Tsuruyuki before joining Hyotei. Appointed 15th head in 2015, he co-founded the Japanese Culinary Academy in 2004 and promotes traditional Japanese cuisine worldwide.
