SENKO IKENOBO
Next Grand Master of Flower Arranging "Ikenobo" Group
Yuki Ikenobo, born in Kyoto in 1965, is the eldest daughter of Sen'ei and Yasuko Ikenobo and the 45th head of the Ikenobo flower arrangement school. A Gakushuin University graduate, she became Senko in 2015. She is also deputy chief priest at Shiunzan Chohoji Temple, Honorary Consul of Iceland in Kyoto, and a Tokyo 2020 Culture and Education Committee member. Her books include "Hidden Flowers" and "Flower Season: The World of Yuki Ikenobo."
SENSHU IKENOBO
Flower Arranger / Photographer
Grandson of Sen'ei Ikenobo and son of the current Ikenobo master, he studied at Keio and the University of Tokyo. His ikebana is displayed at major stores and he held a "MOVING" exhibition at JR Kyoto Isetan. A photographer, he won the New Emerging Award and promotes ikebana through lectures and writing.
