Enjoy time on the stunning Sorrento coast. Explore the ancient ruins at Pompeii. Relax on the resort island of Capri (between April and October).
Day 1
Delight in a scenic drive from Rome through the beautiful countryside of Castelli Romani and its medieval villages. The first stop will be in Naples (Panoramic bus route through Naples until October - From November, extended time in Pompeii). This Mediterranean city is famous for its rich history, art, culture, and gastronomy. You’ll drive up the Vomero hill for a view over the town which overlooks the bay of Naples and extends from the Sorrento peninsula to the volcanic area of Phlegrean fields. Admire the majestic and still active volcano Vesuvius which dominates the skyline. This is the perfect spot to take photos of this stunning landmark.
Driving down towards the port of Mergellina, travel south towards Mount Vesuvius and the town of Pompeii. After lunch, you'll travel back in time to 79 A.D. When the life and people of Pompeii were frozen by a volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Afterward, take in breathtaking views of the Sorrento coast and enjoy a special fine dinner and an overnight stay hotel on the Sorrento coast.
Day 2
For departures from April to October, depart after breakfast and relax on a boat trip to the stunning resort island of Capri. Good weather will allow a visit to the magical blue waters of the Grotta Azzurra caves.
In your free time, enjoy shopping in the piazza, and explore the cozy streets of Capri. Afterward, enjoy the sun and sea air on the coast. For departures from November to March, you'll have free time in Sorrento to discover the coast or to take a trip to Capri on your own (not included).

• Only 1 piece of luggage can be carried on the tour
• For Day 1 please check the dress code for your dinner
• During peak season, visiting the Blue Grotto in Capri may involve long lines and limited capacity. If access is not possible, or the weather conditions do not allow it, our guides will suggest alternative attractions to ensure a satisfying and memorable tour (e.g. Faraglioni rocks).
• Panoramic bus route through Naples included until 31st October 2024 - From 1st November 2024 there will be extended time in Pompeii
• From November 01 to March 31 the trip to Capri will not be included in the package
• Note: when booking for 3 people, you will be assigned a triple room
• Please note that a specific dress code is required: when entering inside churches or religious sites: no sleeveless tops, shorts or mini skirts are permitted. Men are not allowed to wear shorts in restaurants
• Be ready 45 minutes before departure in the hotel lobby (60 minutes for non-central hotels)
• For info regarding service feasibility/coverage verification, ask the reception or contact our booking office. Please note, pick-up is not available from B&Bs, guest houses or apartments
