Start the tour by cable car and 4x4 jeep up to 2850m then continue with the trekking with a volcanologist guide to the top of Etna
Embark on an adventure on the highest active volcano in Europe with expert volcanological guides and reach the true summit of Etna at 3300 metres.
The tour will start at the meeting point 'La Baita 3L ski Lab', after receiving the necessary equipment for trekking (shoes, helmets, jackets, sticks) you will go up via cable car and 4x4 jeep until you reach 2850 metres.
From this point the trekking begins to reach the Central Crater at 3300 meters. Enjoy the route walking on the lava flows of past eruptions, admire bombs and volcanic waste along the way.
Once you reach the top, marvel at the sight of volcanic activities such as gas emissions and fumaroles.
Enjoy the panoramic view of Sicily up to the coast and, if the weather permits, up to the Aeolian Islands.
After a lunch break, the descent begins to the jeep and cable car pick-up point, to return to the office and leave the equipment.
The total exclusion time is 5-6 hours.
