The first part of the day will be dedicated to a visit of the archaeological site of Pompeii, where an authorized guide will lead you through the remains of this extraordinary city immortalized by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Pompeii is renowned all over the world for the exceptional relics, buildings and infrastructure of the site as it is well-preserved due to the city's burial under meters of ash and lava fragments. Lunch stop is at the winery Bosco dei Medici: great views of Mount Vesuvius: enjoy local cold cuts and cheeses; a traditional pasta dish with tomatoes sauce and a delicious dessert in jar.
