Along the way, listen as your guide sheds light on the horrific eruption that ended life in the city in 79 AD. On arrival to Pompeii, you have two hours to explore the site at your leisure. Use your map to explore at your own pace and take in key landmarks including the Forum, the Temples, and the Markets, for which the site is famous. Tickets to the site and maps will be provided and you will be able to hire audioguides or organize a guided tour with a licensed tour guide.
