Meet your guide at the meeting point near the souvenir shop "La Baita 3L ski lab" at 1,900 meters above sea level. Board a cable car and ascend to 2,500 meters above sea level. Continue your journey by 4x4 minibus to 2,800 meters above sea level.
Accompanied by your guide, reach 3,000 meters above sea level. From this altitude, admire a view of the impressive summit craters of Etna in all their grandeur, including the Central Crater divided in Bocca Nuova and Voragine, the South-East Crater, and the North-East Crater.
See the craters of the most recent eruptions of the volcano, and also the crossing of a lava flow tunnel. After the visit at the summit area and in particular at the places of the recent eruption of the South-East Crater, continue the descent on foot.
Cross the places of the other recent eruptions and admire a panoramic view on Valle del Bove, the Aeolian islands, and the Calabrian coast. Return to the starting point by 4x4 minibus and cable car.
