From here walk passing by San Moisè church to reach the world famous Teatro La Fenice. The theater, totally restored, except the external walls, still has the charm and elegance of ancient times, when nobles and courtesans enjoyed classical music and operas here. Continue to Campo Manin with the impressive statue of the last Doge, Daniele Manin.
Continue along a very tiny street, reach Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, with its external original marbled staircase. A real architectural gem characterized by a mix of different styles (Renaissance, Gothic and Byzantine). The staircase is called 'del Bovolo' (snail shell) for obvious reasons.
