Paragliding is a free flying sport using fabric wings (parachutes) that are taken off with the feet for recreation or competition purposes. The parent organization is Plgi (Indonesian Hang Gliding Association), while Pgi itself is under the auspices of Fsi (Indonesian Aero Sport Federation). The sport of paragliding takes off from a hillside or mountain using the wind. The wind used as a source of lifting power that causes this parachute to float high in space consists of two types, namely, rising wind that hits the slope (dynamic lift) and rising wind caused by thermal (thermal lift). By utilizing these two sources, pilots can fly very high and reach long distances. What's interesting is that everything is done without using a machine, just using the wind
