Fortunately, it was revived by a dedicated family in Udaipur, who are committed to preserving this unique tradition.

Unlike traditional paintings on paper or cloth, Jal Sanjhi artists use water as their canvas. This artistic legacy has been passed down through generations within the family, with each painting dedicated solely to one subject: Lord Krishna.
The origins of these paintings trace back to a divine moment when 'Radha,' a beloved devotee of Lord Krishna, saw his image reflected in a pond's water.
