Your full-day tour of India's capital starts with a visit to Old Delhi, the city's ancient district. Set out for the Red Fort, constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, who was also responsible for building the Taj Mahal, after being picked up from your hotel. After that, take a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk's busy retail district to reach Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque dating back to the 17th century.
You will travel into New Delhi and see the Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, before making a stop at the Tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. You will also pause for a traditional local meal. After that, visit the India Gate, erected as a monument to honour Indian soldiers lost in World War I, and then proceed to the Lotus Temple, a graceful building shaped like a lotus flower.
Finally, before being transported back to your lodging, you will pass the Parliament Buildings and the Presidential House.
