Start your day by meeting your guide at the dedicated meeting point from there you'll head towards Dharavi where an estimated 5,000 businesses and 15,000 single-room factories run, you'll encounter many Garment factories, Leather tanneries, India's biggest plastics recycling units ,etc., you name it and its there.
The community exhibits resilience and resourcefulness, challenging stereotypes associated with slums. Dharavi has become a symbol of entrepreneurship and community strength, offering a complex and dynamic picture that goes beyond its initial perception as a poverty-stricken area.
