Karnala is located approx 70kms from Mumbai and just 16kms from Panvel station. The short day trek is suitabe for all age groups. You will get a 360 degree view of nearby region from the top.
07:00 - Meet at Panvel Railway Station
You can reach here by local suburban trains running from 'CST' through 'Wadala' and 'Kurla'. Feel free to ping us for guidance. Alternatively you can book an ola or uber cab.
07:45 - We reach the base in a local tuktuk
08:00 - Have light breakfast and then start hiking through the forests
10:00 - Reach the top and explore the ancient water tanks, archaelogical remains and enjoy the view of Raigad district
11:00 - Start descending
12:30 - Freshen up a bit at base and then enjoy the local lunch cooked by the ladies of nearby villages.
14:30 - We will drop you back to Panvel station.
You can expect to return back to your hotel by 5pm (17:00 hrs) in evening
