You will be picked up from the cruise Terminaal of Kochi Port/Kochi Airport or from the lobby of the hotel where you are staying. An air conditioned Sedan for up to 4 people and an air conditioned Van for up to 15 people is used.
We visit Fort Kochi and Jewish Town.
Phase 1
Pick up in Car/ Van and transfer to Fort Kochi. At fort Kochi transfer to waiting Tuk Tuks and ride around the area taking narrow by lanes and side roads. Stop at attractions to take photos. ( 1 hour )
Phase 2.
Board the Car / Van to visit the following attractions.
Fort Kochi. At Fort Kochi you will begin walking along the thorough fares to attractions like the Fort Kochi Beach and Chinese Fishing Nets. The Guide/Driver will explain the importance of the place, its history. You will visit also St. Francis Church and pay homage to Vasco de Gama at his first tomb in this church. Ample time is spend at Chinese Fishing nets and Church of St. Francis to take photos and interacting with fishermen/local community.
You will also enjoy a soft walk to the Church of St. Francis and the tomb of Vasco De Gama.
Now it is time for experiencing a travel in a public bus. You will board a public bus from Fort Kochi to go to Jewish Town. Reaching Jewish Town you will viist the Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) at Jewish Town ( 1 hour )
It is time now for a soft walk to the Jewish Town exploring the ancient Jewish Town and the Paradeshi Synagogue. The Jewish street is full of shops selling clothes, Jewllery, handicrafts, spices and antiques. Time is set apart for looking around.
After visiting these attractions you will be transferred back to Fort Kochi in the Public Bus.
On reaching Fort Kochi you will be the car/van to return to your ship/hotel..
