Explore the highlights of India’s Golden Triangle on a private 3-day trip from Delhi. Admire Agra Fort, the Taj Mahal, the Amber Fort, and more. Enjoy the services of a local guide in each city, air-conditioned transportation, and included accommodation.
Begin Day 1 with pickup in Delhi. Head to the massive Akshardham Temple Complex and explore an amazing world of Indian culture with 20,000 statues, floral motifs, arches, and exquisitely carved pillars. (If your tour begins on a Monday, you will visit somewhere else as the complex will be closed.)
Later, drive to the city of Agra. Upon arrival, visit the imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire a hilltop citadel built of red sandstone and marble with fabulous courtyards, fountains, and gates. In the evening, check in to the hotel and rest overnight.
Wake up early on Day 2 and explore the monumental heritage of the great Mughals in Agra, including the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created.
Marvel at the Taj Mahal’s wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone, which 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build. After a late breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur, the fabled “pink city” of the desert. Check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel on Day 3, visit the dramatic hilltop fortress of Amber Fort. Wander among glittering inlays and through the Hall of Mirrors, and stop to view the elegant Hawa Mahal, known as the “Palace of the Winds.”
Take a break for lunch, then explore the Maharajah’s City Palace, now partly a museum displaying a unique fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture and housing a rare collection of paintings, Rajput armory, and costumes. Later, drive back to Delhi and get dropped off where you want.

Transportation will be by 4-seater sedan for groups of 1 to 3 people; by 6-seater wagon for groups of 4 to 5 people; and by 9-seater minivan for groups of 6 to 9 people

Some monuments may not accept credit cards. Carry some cash to purchase monument tickets or ask the driver to find you an ATM

Rooms are generally provided on a twin-sharing basis at each lodging. In a booking of 3 people, rooms are provided on a triple-sharing basis by default. If 3 guests prefer 2 rooms, they will have to pay a single room supplement
