Day 1: Kochi to Munnar
Begin your tour with a pickup from Kochi Airport, Hotel, or Seaport. Travel to Munnar, stopping at 2 waterfalls for photographs and stretching. Arrive in Munnar and enjoy a leisurely lunch at a 3-star hotel.
After lunch, visit the Tea Museum and Tea Factory. Then, drive to the Mattupetty View Point. If time permits, visit the Eraviklulam National Park, the habitat of the Nilgiri Thar, a wild mountain goat declared as endemic. Check in at your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Munnar to Madurai
After breakfast, drive to Madurai. Pass through the Western Ghats mountain ranges, overlooking the Bodi, Cumbum, and Theni plateau. Experience the extensive vineyards, sugarcane, sunflower, coconut, and Cape Oak farms, as well as the small towns and villages of Tamil Nadu.
On reaching Madurai, visit the Meenakshy Temple to witness the wonders of the high towering gopuras and exquisite black granite stone carvings of pillars and gods of the Hindu pantheon. Finally, be dropped off at Madurai Airport, Hotel, or Seaport.
