Head for wherever meteorologists have predicted the lights will be at their best that night. To get stunning views of the sky you will aim for areas with no artificial light.
Hear explanations of how the Aurora Borealis is caused as a result of the gaseous particles in the earth’s atmosphere colliding with charged particles released from the sun’s atmosphere.

• Viewings are not guaranteed. If lights are not seen, you are entitled to a free retry tour on our northern lights bus tour. Offer valid for 3 years.
• If the tour is canceled due to unfortunate weather conditions for all the days of your stay in Iceland, then you will get a full refund.
• To guarantee the best experience for the night, no children under the age of 8 years old will be allowed on this tour. The tour can be tiring for young children, especially in the cold weather, and after a potentially long day on other guided tours
• Pickups can take up to 30 minutes
• Please bring weatherproof and warm clothing
Please be ready at the pickup time. The local partner may take around 30 minutes to arrive. Pickup is from selected hotels and bus stops.
