Join this e-bike guided day tour to experience the picturesque Corinthian countryside, the land of Ancient Nemea, taste delicious local wines and swim on the northeast part of the Peloponnese.
In the morning you leave Athens and through the Canal of Corinth, you pass to the Peloponnese. Riding a quality e-bike and guided by a local, you will explore the rural area, characterized by olive groves, citrus and vineyards, towards Ancient Nemea; one of the most important vinyards of Greece that is continuously cultivated since the antiquity and probably the oldest wine growing area of Europe!
In a traditional winery you will taste 5 local wines accompanied with various delicacies.
This is the land where according Greek Mythology, Hercules succeded one of his 12 labours; hunting and killing Nemean Lion, and established the Nemean Games; an event little inferior to the Olympics.
If you wish, you have the opportunity to visit Zeus's sanctuary and the ancient stadium, before continue your ride that will eventually lead you to the extended south coast of the Corinthian Gulf.
The cycling ends by the sea where swimming is possible, before boarding our van to return back to Athens.
