Get into the Christmas spirit on a trip to Düsseldorf Christmas market. Hop on the bus in Amsterdam, and enjoy the ride to the German city. Jump off at Tonhallenufer, and spend 9 hours wandering around and exploring the market. At the end of the day, jump back on the bus and drive back to Amsterdam.
Begin by meeting your driver early in the morning in Amsterdam. Hop on your coach, set off on your journey, and enjoy the views. Disembark the bus in Düsseldorf's Tonhallenufer, then set out to explore the city and the markets.
Stroll around the market and soak up the Christmassy atmosphere. Look at the numerous stalls selling decorations and toys. Find one of many food stalls, and indulge in a traditional snack. Choose from German sausages, roasted almonds, Kartoffelpuffer, and more. Wash it down with a mulled wine.
Take a ride on the Ferris wheel on Burgplatz and enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view of the city. Then head over to the ice rink and feel the rush of excitement as you glide along the ice at top speed. After, stroll down Königsallee and enjoy the Dome of Lights over the Stadtgraben.
If you still have time, pay a visit to the shopping arcade Schadow-Arcaden and marvel at the light show there, which features displays with 30,000 lights on a 15-meter-high tree. Hop back on your bus in the evening. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride back to Amsterdam.
