The program is a journey through Piaf's exciting and all too short life. It tells the story of the singer, from her discovery to her end as a world star, from her encounters with Charles Aznavour , Yves Montand, Georges Moustaki ... and also sheds light on aspects of Piaf's life that were little known to her admirers. Kati Grasse, the well-known Dresden actress and singer, was inspired to dedicate a program to the songs and life of this great little artist. Supported by Detlef Rothe on piano and accordion, she sings more than 20 of Piaf's most beautiful chansons, striking a convincing balance between vocal approach and individual expression.
