Annecy: Day trip to the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval

We invite you to the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval, a journey through one of the most impressive natural amphitheaters in the French Alps, with waterfalls and breathtaking views, available to anyone.
Beginning at 8 AM from Annecy, we'll embark on a leisurely journey in a comfortable minibus towards Sixt Fer-à-Cheval, nestled in the picturesque Samoëns valley, before continuing to the stunning Cirque Fer-à-Cheval.

Upon arrival, various activities await, offering something for everyone. Options range from leisurely pony walks (not included in the price) to two types of invigorating hikes:

A gentle hike suitable for beginners and children of nearly any age, leading to the valley's culmination known as 'The End of the World'. This segment of the hike is marked by dramatic waterfalls and unveils a breathtaking panorama.

A more challenging trek, involving a 500m elevation gain via Pas de Boret to the Chalet du Boret, before looping back to 'The End of the World'. Note that this option includes a rocky section and is only viable in favorable weather conditions.

The choice of hiking route will be tailored to the group's preferences. Simultaneous options are also feasible; in such cases, our two guides will efficiently divide the group.

Included in the experience is a 'tourist lunch' comprising sandwiches, French cheese, and even a glass of wine.

As the day draws to a close around 5 PM, we'll commence our journey back to Annecy, arriving at approximately 7 PM, having relished a day in the great outdoors.
