We start our journey with a comfortable departure from Le Havre, enjoying a two-hour drive through the Normandy countryside. Along the way, your guide will share historical context about the D-Day landings. Our first stop is Sainte-Mère-Église, a village central to the D-Day narrative. Known for the story of paratrooper John Steele, whose parachute got caught on the church steeple, Sainte-Mère-Église was one of the first towns liberated by Allied forces. You’ll have the chance to visit the famous church and explore the village.

The tour continues to Utah Beach, one of the main landing sites of the Allied invasion. Walk along the sands where American forces secured their foothold in Normandy. You’ll visit memorials and learn about the heroic efforts that unfolded on this iconic beach.
