You will leave with your guide for an 8-hour day in the footsteps of the clashes of June 6, 1944, which led to the liberation of France and Europe.

Our guides, using documents and illustrations, will immerse you in these high places in History: Pointe du Hoc, where Colonel Rudder's Rangers climbed these cliffs; in Arromanches, where there are the remains of one of the many artificial ports put into service during this conflict. All this while passing many must-see sites such as Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and the Longues battery.

The first stop will be at Pointe du Hoc, one of the strategic locations of the Atlantic Wall, located between the beaches of Omaha and Utah. Once there, your guide will explain the importance of this place as well as the fierce battles that took place there.

You will then continue to Omaha Beach, nicknamed “La Sanglante”. It was in this place that the most violent fighting took place. You will then discover how the disembarkation took place. Then you will head to the American Cemetery, opened in 1956 and managed by the American Battle Monuments Commission, the resting place of thousands of soldiers who fought for Liberty.

The last stop will be in Arromanches, to discover the remains of the artificial port Mulberry B, on Gold Beach. Your guide will then talk to you about the importance of logistics during armed conflicts such as the Second World War.
